PLOUGH:5 BREWERS ARMS:0 Darren:3190 Paul:710 Alas, Paul pegged his 3k opener and Darren took advantage well.
Chase:5070 Lynne:150 Chase opened up with a good 3k5 and poor Lynne couldn't get going at all.
Jockster:7940 Ros:650 If anyone can remember the Mid-sussex masters they might remember that a score was to be settled between these two. The score was well and truly settled with a good performance from Mr. Jeffrey, largely keeping an unlucky Ros off the table.
Trevor:4770 Andy:2980 Trevor lead all the way through this one, the Farmer getting the break back only towards the end.
Geoff:5220 Spud:4040 Really good game from Geoff to be fair. I led off with 3k5 but never could return the balls to finish it off. Geoff got the break back once to bring it level, and then again near the end to kill off any prospects of avoiding the brush.
After leading the troops to a 7-0 defeat on Sunday, and 5-0 on this night,I feel like a rubbish general ("over the top lads, don't come back!") but, nevertheless, it was a good night at the Plough. Lovely table, good comapny, nice atmosphere, exactly the reason why I will always come back for more punishment.
Cheers all.
