If you are running Avast anti virus please be aware of a possible corruption in the virus database downloaded last night 31/10/2011
If your computer says "Antivirus not enabled - Fix now" dont worry TOO much, just follow these instructions:
Go to 'control panel' Open 'add/remove programs' Click on Avast Click on Update
then open Avast again and if it doesn't open correctly click 'FIX NOW'
You should find that your virus definition has reverted to 111101-0 (from 11130-1 which was last nights download)
Avast should then be working OK

We had this problem on both our Pcs this morning, so I search and found the answer provided on the Avast forum. Just be aware Keith, if your updates are set for a different time it is possible that you will get this problem later today. Keep an eye on your protection icon
