Limeburners 1-4 Stout House BB
Mick 1660 - 3070 Trevor (Nip & Tuck game that Trevor just had the better of) Tony 2200 - 4600 Dick (Closer than the scoreline suggests, Dick with a late sealing break) Steve 1160 - 830 Pete (Ugly game at the top end, Steve had more dropping, nothing went for Pete) Mel 590 - 8740 Ricky (Ricky played well altho his unattempted 200 pot late in the game scared all) Ding 1860 - 3180 Sk1ppy (A very close Ebb & Flow game, Sk1ppy got the break back late to nick it)
As always a very enjoyable night at The Limeburners with some wonderful people & lovely sarnies.
I'm signing out until the New Year as I'm away to Oz... Wish you all a Merry Xmas!

Stout House A 2, Mill House 3
Gordon Carver 2660, Vicky Timson 1730 Dave Howlett 3160, tommo 4730 John Tidy 2270, Margo 2720 Glyn Owen 2710, Johnny Haigh 2230 Noggs 1300, BB Warrior 8920
First three games were all very close with the eventually winner running away with it as the bar was due. 6k opener in the last for the Warrior.
Table had a slight right hand roll, rectified after the match when it was noticed the front legs weren't on their marks. Barry Lawson then made it look really easy in a friendly !
Good selection of sarnies, and all-in-all an enjoyable evening.

Holbrook Club 2 Dun Horse 3 Sam Jones 2850 Adam Bateup 3230 Adam missing both balls on opening break managed to settle down to win. Vic Razzell 3490 John Lear 2530 Nigel Evans 2400 Paul Jobbins 6730 Stuart Carruthers 1720 Graham Sparksman 3260 Steve Hopkins 2930 Iang 1320 I managed to get the break twice & then played a fraction thicker putting the red ball up the middle. Steve Battled on to win. This is the first time I have played a man in a suit & put this down to why I lost. Steve arrived fresh from some meetings & I think he must of had a hard time as he made me pay.
& Our Guest for the night played Sam Jones in the friendly as he would not take a place on the team.

This is the first time I have played a man in a suit & put this down to why I lost. Will have to ensure when the time comes to play you, then, that the Warrior turns up in his best Bib and Tucker, complete with dicky bow. ;) ;D ;D ;D

It was good to see my old team again, I've said it before and I'll say it again... the only thing that I miss is seeing all my old mates, if I can do it once a year I'll be happy. Thanks for making me so welcome Next time I'll have to arrange it so I can get a league game (or two), I really want one of those 'Sussex T-Shirts ;)

Oh Good cause I'm bound to get drawn against you. Noting your recent good form, Ian, I might just have to wear mine on the 10th Jan as a precautionary measure - if I can still fit into it, that is ! ;D

To complete the week, these have been 'lifted from Ian's weekly report:
Crawley Club 3, Windmill B 2 A home win for Crawley Club against table rival Windmill B sees the teams tied in 2nd place. Chris Kirkham up first for the Club next up Darrell Skinner to make it 2-0 Alan Downs won the 3rd for the match. Windmill’s Dave Lennon had a good game in the 4th but a bit too late Mike Lennon closed the night.
Windmill A 1, Southwater SC 4 Southwater SC make 4th a solid place to be taking their first match win of the season after a trip to the windmill. Rob David gained Windmill a point in the first before Tom Darkins fired in with 5040 against Andy Crofton, Chris Purkiss took the 3rd leg while a close 4th went to Gordon Ling over Joan Davies. A good win for Ollie Wilkins in the last helped the tally
