South Park B continue to plough their furrow straight along the middle of the Premier Division, but it is a pleasure to play on such a good home table. Those with the break cashed in with good scores, and this would have included Paul Reece had he not suffered a swing back on to a peg whilst motoring on 7k. Josie took her chance well, nailing it on her second visit.
South Park Con Club B 3, Merstham Village Club B 2
Josie 3300, Paul Reece 490 tommo 8280, Frank Doyle 2380 Dave Snashfold 500, Jan Taylor 12,240 BB Reaper 10,490, Bud Abbott 3400 Paul Trottman 630, Gary Powell 9620
Former England Champion Jan Taylor opened with 7k and must now be the front runner for ladies highest away break and score (will have to check website for confirmation).
BB Reaper's opening break was a superb 10k - Chocie please note - but he barely had a chance to add to it.

Ok Tommo credit where credit is due ! Kev played well tonight in the Worthing League to win his last game of the season. Must say at one point he nearly didn't after losing a game winning break.
If the rumours are true about Nigels team losing tonight Kev could be picking up a Premier League Champions trophy in his first year of playing down here. Plus if i didn't take the p### out of him he would think something is wrong.

Thanks TJ and DJ for your kind wishes.
Neither Margo or myself can hardly believe that it's been 25 years, and over that time we've made a lot of friends in the bar billiards community: We firmly believe that bar billiards keeps you "young at heart".
We have spread our celebrations over a whole week and I will be taking her to football on Saturday and we'll no doubt be having a few beers in the clubhouse to celebrate getting 15 of our 18 points back. 8-)

Margo doesn't know how lucky she is!!! ::) Thanks for the drinks last night! Maybe I should have gone the route of vodka - you never know - it might have helped my game!!!! :-/ I've already said it - but wishing you and Margo all the best and much happiness for the next 25 years. ;D Josie x

Congratulations Tommo and Margo on your 25th Anniversary and wish you both the very best for the future. We just celebrated our 34th on Saturday and spread it over several days which was easy as it was Elaine's Birthday too (21 again she says ;D).

Thank you Josie, Mick (H/v/P) Sparky and Ian.
We stretched the celebs out for one further day with Margo and Johnny Haigh hitting the white wine at the end of the evening, and Johnny got quite sozzled and had to be shoe-horned out of the car. ;)
Belated congrats to Sparky and Elaine - Sparky you don't look old enough to have been married 34 years. ;)
