A good first leg of this weeks back to back match played in a really good atmosphere, it was my bad luck to get drawn against Dave Alder in the first leg who played the table very well and went in with just over 10K. Everyone else found the table tricky to play but I think that was more down to us over-complicating matters!
Wallingford B lost the first leg 3-2 and we are about 17K down so tonight is not gonna be easy by any stretch of the imagination! I know we will try our utmost to turn it around tonight and this is one of those matches that really could go down to the wire.
Good luck to everyone tonight.. Wallingford that is ;)

A very tight and interesting game last night, we (Wallingford B) needed to win 4-1 really given the aggregate we were down and when we went 3-0 up and we were then 3K up things looked good but Reading pulled of a good win in a tight 4th game before Geoff Pitt took the break in the last and went straight in with 8K in about 11 minutes and I needed to go straight on and get the break back.. it didn't happen and Reading won the last game to give them a 5 all result and a win on aggregate.
Well done Reading and good luck in the final :)

That's a fantastic result against a very high quality team - well done Oxford. Let's hope for a competitive return leg at Caversham.... ;D
Any date for the second leg of the Final yet?
Tony
