I'm backing Andy as I believe in omens: it's Jubilee Year and Virginia Wade was champ in 1977.
Federer played unbelievable tennis in his last match, so I'll back him to take out Djokovic in the semi but (after slugging it out in a tight match) have nothing left against Murray in the Final. 8-)

Ferrer will beat Murray and go on to take the title. milko The British player goes through in a tough match, three of the sets taken on tie-breakers. :o Better check that crystal milkbottle again, Milko. ;) You earn points if the eventual winner comes from that tie. 8-)

My vote goes to Federer - although Jokovic is strong too.

Andy through to the Final, our first since Bunny Austin in 1938 !
If he can go on and beat Federer on Sunday he earns the right to be called an 'honorary Englishman'! ;D ;D ;D

And a Brit through in the men's pairs as well, first time in donkey's years as well and does not even get a mention on the BBC tennis page at present with the Murraymania.
I wonder how long since a Brit was in both mens finals??
Long may it continue

Sav's right to credit Marray: Jon Marray is the first Brit to reach the Mens Doubles Final since 1960 when Mike Davies and Bobby Wilson lost in the Final.
By coincidence 1936 was Britain's last success in both Mens Singles and Mens Doubles: Fred Perry and Pat Hughes/Raymond Tuckey.
So, the questions are, will Andy become Roger's rabbit - or will he roll the Swiss over? One thing's for sure, if he manages to win, Murray will be minted ! ;D

Well that was one of the most spellbinding matches I have ever watched, what a fairytale! two complete unknowns winning the men's pairs, winning with a smile on their faces and one of them a Brit ;D ;D.
I could not believe that they did not buckle in the fifth set after losing the fourth, if only Andy Murray could serve some second serves at 110mph like his near namesake!!
Where has Jonathan Marray been for the last ten years? I had never heard of him before two days ago!
Let's hope we are cheering tomorrow night!
Sav.

In the end the burden of expectation just proved too much for poor Andy. Emotional scenes with him breaking down when it came to his speech and 30,000 spectators crying with him. :o :o
You have to hand it to Federer, in his last three matches his tennis has been out of this world.
But as Andy said himself, he's getting closer.....

Dave Jones and Margo win this one for tipping Federer. Completes a double for Margo as she predicted the Ladies winner too. Tommo got both finalists, but round the wrong way. BigTJ tipped Murray for the Final in the Queen's Jubilee Year.
Thanks for your votes..........next up will be the Olympics. 8-)
