Barge Inn, Honeystreet, Pewsey, SN9 5PS Thats an interesting one Clive, I had the good fortune to visit there 30 years ago (no table at that time) ;) it has history with my ex-wife, there is a large dedication on the outside wall stating that it was rebuilt (in 1872 if my memory serves me right) by her great grandfather Benjamin Biggs, there was also a window in one of the back rooms inscribed (by diamond ring) "Sid Biggs got drunk 1871", her family celebrated the 100 anniversary in similar fashion ;D The village of Honey Street used to be around 70% of her ancestors. Back ib the 80's it was a lovely pub but who knows what 30 years have done to it It is also a favourite haunt for UFO hunters, claims of an abnormal amount of paranormal activity in the area.... probably my ex-wife on her broomstick :-X

Two more Wiltshire pubs with bar billiards, as claimed in the Good Pub Guide:
Bear, West Street, Wilton, Wiltshire SP2 0DF Barford Inn, Grovely Rd, Barford St Martin, Salisbury, Wilts SP3 4AB
These will be added to the AEBBA map.
Wilts certainly seems to have quite a few, a possible aftermath of the defunct Pewsey Vale League - of which very little is known.

Wilts certainly seems to have quite a few (venues), a possible aftermath of the defunct Pewsey Vale League - of which very little is known. Following Tony(Barbelman)'s diligence in publicizing Pete Farrelly's Bar Billiards Quarterlies, on his Witney website, much more is now known.......Here is a more-or-less complete record of the league's activity in its heyday of the early 1990's:

It seems that Wiltshire had an eleven year presence (1983 - 1994) as a participating county at National level, as these minutes of the 1982 AEBBA AGM suggest:

I remember playing county matches in Pusey in Wiltshire many years ago. They were a fun side to play, mainly old bikers.

It no longer has the table as it was moved elsewhere. Sadly that pub sold it to someone (pub, private individual I don't know) in Sussex
