Dave entered it himself on the calendar ! (Click on calendar at the top of this screen) ::)
Dave- you don't need to enter your birthday manually at all, the calendar picks it up automatically from your profile.

What a waste of time this "Birthday" posting is when it comes up as showing someones birthday when it's not!!
So, can I please suggest to all members to take a look at their own profiles and make sure that it has got the correct date in place, as this seems to happen too often on this forum.
By the way.......Mine is correct! ::)

By the way.......Mine is correct! ::) Keith His profile agrees with 30th July so it was only the wrong entry in the calender that has caused the problem on this occasion (I have deleted it)..............however if a wrong birthday date is entered into a profile when registering it cannot be changed by the member or even us (the forum directors) although there is a very small chance that you could plead with the Proboards admin to change it OR delete your account and re-register correctly (tell us in advance and we can assist especially with post counts). will delete my B'day wish post too. |

If you look at the main menu, Dave you'll see two important fields at the foot of the page:
Today's birthday's;
Events this month.
Against the former, chocie appears (must remember to wish him happy birthday)
Against 'Events this month' the following appears:
Kent Classic, Redhill AGM @ Salfords Club 8pm, Brewers One-Day Singles, U25s/Over 50s/Over 60s, Biilingshurst Bar Billiards League AGM
The events have been entered manually by someone or other using the calendar,and you can click on the event to see who entered it. The person who added it can add further background information which will appear in a file below.
It is possible to add birthdays here too, but it's a pointless exercise really as everyone's comes across automatically from information contained in their profile. They'll only appear on the main menu screen at the bottom if you've set your profile as 'Show age - yes'.

If you now click on calendar for July, you will now see 2 birthdays for the 30th - both yours !
All the birthdays for July appear at the foot of each date cell, these have come across automatically from people's profiles without them having deliberately entered them.
Sometimes 3 birthdays appear for a date - try clicking on one of those, you will just see a simple list.
Now click on each of your birthday mentions in turn - the bottom one has come across from your profile, and the one slightly higher up shows your avatar and the fact that you have entered it manually - as an 'event'.
