Q had the germ of an idea for this one : Which brings me on to another idea.... AMBITIONS. So here's one even Johnny can join in with. ;) Name 10 as-yet-unfulfilled ambitions. And keep 'em clean ! Here's my list (and I've left out "join the mile-high club" ;) ) 1. Retire before I reach 60. Yes2. Write a best-selling epic novel. No3. Witness my club's return to the main Football League. Yes4. Have a neat and tidy garden. No5. See the Sussex Home/Away Interleague return to a fairer "random draw" system. No6. Get the stone chips on my car repaired. No7. Get to the last 8 of an Open. Yes8. Have a holiday abroad other than yet again to Jersey. Yes9. Go on a diet and lose about 2 stone. No10. Take on a certain defunct website and restore it to its former glory. YesYour turn !

In no particular order.
1) Get to Board level in my company (Still two rungs away!!) 2) See Celtic win a European Trophy 3) Get my golf handicap down to a consistent single figure 4) Have a child 5) Make my wife happy (these may well be linked!!) 6) Achieve financial security by the age of 50 7) Learn how to fly a plane 8) Stop smoking 9) Get so good at Bar Billiards and win so many events that the England selectors had no option but to offer me a place - only for me to turn it down on nationalistic grounds!! 10) Understand people.

No particular order.
1) Financial security by 60. 2) With that security sponsor bar billiards to ensure new blood and a certain future for the game. 3) Take a world cruise. 4) Become a consistant bar billiards player. 5) Celebrate 50 years of marraige to my wonderful wife ( not sure she would always wish this.) 6) Like BB loose weight, again not likely as I enjoy my food and drink to much. 7) Retire by 60, and then just enjoy life to its full. 8) Enjoy good health to achieve ambitions. 9) To understand how to make full use of my computer ( working on that one, but not too successfully.) 10) To see Brighton and Hove Albion get their new stadium and then go onto European Glory ( well one is allowedto dream.)

OK - I took my time over this one . . . but think I've got it about right now! ;)
1. Have another baby 2. To have the money and find the perfect Pub with B&B to run (pref. near the sea!) 3. To lose weight 4. To win the lottery 5. To finish writing my novel (actually first I'd have to find the beginning of my novel because it's been lost for years!) 6. To wake up in the morning and not be tired, just once would do!! 7. To have more time - just add another 10 hours to each day and I'd be happy! 8. To not come bottom of the averages for my team next year 9. Talk my team (or indeed, my hubby) into buying me a table for home!!!! 10. To live happily ever after.

Interesting topic here! I am going to prioritise my list from 1-10.
1) Get a Girlfriend 2) Learn to drive 3) Get drawn against Keith in the Summer 4) Stuff him to the point he wants to quit :D ;) 5) Eat less junk food (but it's soo hard :-[) 6) Go back to college and get some skills. 7) Win Jersey on first attempt :o :) 8) Beat KT in the ranks and consistently play tables out (on any table)! 9) Buy a Car 10) Save some money!!
So that is my list to date, now people may read this topic in November and think :-/ that I don't want to play Bar Billiards as much! The list does change on a daily basis (that is what I'm trying to say) ::)
I reckon realistically I won't win Jersey this year, but it is nice to think those thoughts ;D

See my son Callum grow in to a fine young man and make my wife and more proud of him. :D 6. Finish the Kitchen. 7. Lose weight. (Popular this one) 8. Enjoy my life further to the extreme. 8-) 9. BUMP !
A whole year has gone by, so for a bit of fun, let's have a review of our own progress - do our ambitions remain elusive as ever ?
tommo is pleased to report that he can chalk off numbers 8 and 7 after the weekend just gone, and remains on par for 1 and 3.
The remainder need a bit of work ! ;D

Mine are quite boring to an extent (and in no order)
1) Achieve professionally so the other half doesnt have to work 2) Start a family with Becki that we can be proud of 3) Buy her a house/flat 4) See Peterborough reach the Premiership (I will take the Championship or FA cup Final) 5) Get golf handicip down to single figures (its strange how popular that is) 6) Look after my younger brother and ensure he has the perfect childhood 7) Start playing football again and get back to a semi-pro level or as close as darn possible 8) Travel the world. Take in some proper culture 9) Be properly multil lingual, rather than knowing "a bit" 10) Still be able to enjoy my life in 50 years time.
No bar billiards bits on here im afraid. Could add a 50 break at snooker or a 10k at billiards, but I'll leave that off for now.

As if I would!!!!!! Don't usually insinuate anything, I just put it in the rubbish bin.
And to think Ian Coleman could be "too young" for anybody?
Quiz question: just how old was Methusalah's wife?
