Week 14 games this Tuesday are:
Red Lion v Bletchington B Plough v Lamb & Flag Masons v Kennington Bletchington A v Royal Oak
Some very interesting end of season games there and good luck to both the Red Lion and Kennington Club who will decide between them who will be winners and who will be runners-up tomorrow night....
Remember that Witney rules state that if points are even at the end of the season then it goes to most matches won and THEN aggregate scores if still even.

Table re-situated in pub and played very well. I lost a winning break in the last game last week in what would have been effectively a 2 point game so I hope that we've done enough this week. Anyway, win or lose it's been a very enjoyable summer league. Many thaks to the organisers.

Phil took the first for the Plough against Turbo and then the Flag ground out the next five. Good evening with whitebait and chips for supper ;D ;D

Masons 0-6 Kennington SC
Ray 580 - 11,500 Mark Deb 0 - 6990 Keith Stack 2640 - 4480 Ian Ray 370 - 8160 Mark Deb 1390 - 3350 Keith Stack 240 - 3100 Keith
As we did a couple of years ago, we saved one of our best performances of the season until the last game!
Nice table, but does look like the narrow variety?
Thanks to Tony for running the league superbly as always.

Well done Kennington on taking the league again by one point from the Red Lion who lead for most of the season. A nicely competitive and friendly summer season and a pleasure to run as ever. It's a very old Jelkes, Mark and as far as I know they didn't do a narrow version - it's standard size :D Congrats again and we do the presentation night and singles finals when you get from yet another Kennington cruise!! cheers Tony

Thanks Tony, very pleased to have won this again.
We all thought at first glances it was narrow, but if you say it isn't, we will believe you ;) ;D
You have certainly done a great job in recovering the table, i now know where to go when mine needs doing ;D

I would echo that the table was nice and I can now see why everyone has made comments about it during the season.
