First of the last three!
Cloth stripped and slate looks good, some damage around ball trap to be investigated.
Nice table.

Finished and the best slate I have found so far.
Replaced some screws and tightened up the balltrap. Rear left leg socket looks a bit suss, will examine it when I take the legs off.
Clock is suspect as the bar is short, runs unevenly, ticker weight is fully adjusted out and has little ticker left as the bar drops. There's a big danger of the bar not dropping if I adjust the clock out more than the sixteen and a half minutes. I'm trying adding some weight to the ticker arm and WD40 to the clock.

AS suspected there is damage to the rear left leg and the entire corner post is moving.
I will look again if I have time after the other two recovers, if not this table must be looked at.

A close look shows the whole rear left corner of the body to be flexing and at least one of the corner pieces is split end to end.
Really needs dismantling and rebuilding in the near future. I doubt that I will feel like tackling it as I have other work that is awaiting my attention like recovering Dover and Deal slates for the new season. I would guess someone has put the table on end with the back legs on and pivoted on the back legs. I have seen it done!!
The clock runs long enough now but I suspect wear and tear will manifest itself at some point, could be imminent, could be years, I don't know.
