Worthing A 5, Redhill A 2
Worthing A put themselves back in contention for the runners-up spot with a good win over Redhill.
Sir KT played the table out in the last frame with a fine 17k.
Home team have the card, so hopefully Sir KT will provide the scores.

Worthing A 5, Redhill A 2 Worthing A put themselves back in contention for the runners-up spot with a good win over Redhill. Sir KT played the table out in the last frame with a fine 17k. Home team have the card, so hopefully Sir KT will provide the scores. A good win for the outgoing champs, without Barry Holt as well. Dave Ingram 5800 v 4300 Jason W. - Dave opened with a solid 4500. Jason had a couple of attempts at catching Daves score but fell short 1 - 0 Neil Higgins 7300 v 5670 Bigjimsilverfox - Jim looked very comfortable on the top and it came as a surprise when he broke down. Neil played steadily and passed Jims score with ease. 2 - 0 Lolly 5870 v 7440 Geoff J. - Geoff kicked off with a slow 7400 and didn`t leave Chris enough time, but he ran it out anyway. 2 - 1 Ian L. 11570 v 790 D.C. - Ian opened with 9k and touched on. 3 - 1 Tony Lewis 990 v 11860 Gary P. - Gary opened up with 7k. Tony just had time but couldn`t clear the table 3 - 2 Martin Smith 8500 v Tommo - Clive was off under 2k and the balls stayed up the top for a while. Martin was first to clear them and made a winning break. 4 - 2 Sir KT 17680 v 0 Terry O. - Although I never like to give myself the break, I felt I was pressured into it with the match in the balance at 3-2, so I broke off, intending to touch on if I reached 10k. When I reached my target, I still felt quite good, so sorry Terry, I kept going :P ;) This just about seals the title for Brighton, unless they slip up in the last match, Home to Littlehampton :-/ Redhill have to win at Worthing B to get runners up (if we win at Tunbridge Wells that is).
