Looking at the SCBBA website, and I hasten to say this isn't any criticism of the person who administers it (Dave), one could be forgiven for thinking that there wasn't any Ladies Interleague held until this century.
This has come to light when I have tried to research the history of Horsham Ladies 'A' team - which for many years sent a strong team to the One-Day event, and before that fulfilled many Home and Away campaigns: (although sadly, neither Horsham nor Billingshurst seem to have had a Ladies team for the last ten years).
There are records galore of all the men's competitions dating back (both of Home/Away and One Day events prior to 2000) but by comparison very little on the Ladies. The Ladies deserve to have their own share of the history recorded !
So I would ask, is there a past Ladies Secretary somewhere who has retained the records ?
And if not, at least could a list of the engraving on the Winners and Runners-up Ladies Perpetual Cups be passed to Dave so that he can update the County Records for posterity ?

I'm more than happy to receive any information (for Ladies or Men) that is not shown on the Sussex Website. 8-) But I feel that I could only include these within the "overall averages" for the individual players if there was a complete set of averages for all teams within a season, not just for a few teams as that would then distort the overall statistics. :-/ However, a "Roll of Honour" section showing the winners of each of the competitions over the years would be great, so hopefully somebody has the information from the years before ..... ;)

Agreed that anything from the last century would be 'view for interest' only and could not have stats produced as unlikely to be the full picture.
Re the "Roll of Honour" - I have seen one a while back, which Nigel was compiling from lists obtained from Steve Mariner (sorry Nigel !! ;D). I remember making a few corrections for him (ie Tony Francis mixed up with Tony Franks) and you probably have the data on the site under 'competitions'. But I can't find where Ladies Interleague has been included.

Nigel had listed the following SCBBA finalists up to 2006: - Mens Singles (1965-)
- Masters (1996-)
- Mens Champion-of-Champions (1971-2002)
- Landlords (1974-84)
- Team Captains (1985-)
- Senior Singles (1993-)
- Mens Doubles (1970-)
- Mixed Pairs (1969-)
- Interleague H/A (1959-)
- Interleague 1-Day (1989-)
- Watney Mann Team (1969-)
- Ladies Singles (1967-)
- Ladies Champion-of-Champions (1973-2001)
- Ladies Doubles (1974-)
- Ladies Interleague (1973-)
- Under22, U23s (1989-1993)
For my part, I can now do a feature on Ladies' successes on each of the three websites. 8-)
