Congratulations to Littlehampton on winning Division 2, closely followed by Mid-Sussex.
Well done to the 4 players who had 100% records on the day...... but my choice of "player of the day" would have to go to Daniel Wheal of West Sussex...... who, at the age of just 10, has to be the youngest competitor in the history of the competition. :o 8-)
Well done Daniel for having the courage to take part...... and for getting close to beating a couple of your opponents. ;)
All of the results and averages are now on the Sussex Website (www.sussexbarbilliards.com), many thanks to Jean for sending me the information so quickly. ;D

Just to echo the above, I made a point of speaking to the young gent having watched him in a number of games. He knows the shot to play wherever the ball seems to be, and in a few years time I think a certain Mr Nigel could be in deep deep doo doo!

Thanks for your comments about our Daniel he really appreciated the number of players who made the effort to have a little chat with him.
Mum and Dad are looking forward to going out to get him a new cue! (Sir KT?)
He had a great day but was a bit disappointed not to reach his normal scores!
Was a great experience for him to play on different tables as until now he has only ever played on the one.
