Stout House Z 1, Mill House 4
Vern lost to Alan Rick lost to Mick Rich lost to Clive Dorsal lost to Graham Junkie beat Barry
Scores withheld to protect the innocent ! Table behaved well for us but not for the home team. Match played in nice friendly atmosphere, plenty of chit-chat. Tasty sandwiches, you can't go far wrong with cheese and pickle and brown bread for those of us who can't eat white. New chorus invented for Junkie's benefit !

Springbok 0 Blue Ship (Nomads) 5
G Jarrett 1560 P Barnett 2320
A slow start for Barney, allowing Graham to take an early lead, as time went on Barney got to grips with the table and put the points on the board to take the game.
G Marshall 1940 H Fowler 5650
Hugh had no trouble with the break sticking 2K on the board. Gaz had a good go at getting the points back, only to fall short. Hugh stuck another 2K on the board that put the game beyond young Gaz.
K Nixon 1010 D Sands 2730
Similar game to the first one with Ken, on his return to the table for the first time this season, taking command, with Dave struggling to get any points at all. Eventually Dave's experience came through and with a couple of decent breaks done enough to win.
T Goacher 1210 C Barrow 1250
Not a lot to be said really, Sparrow must have hit the wood so many times I thought they were going to wave a white flag. I had every opportunity to put this one to bed, but came up short. Both of us needed the last ball in the 100, I had first go and missed, game over.
B Hicks 2220 J Thayre 2360
A missed break at the start by John let Bill pull ahead, a fairly even game with both players doing enough to take the lead from one another. As the Bar dropped Bill got the break back with enough balls to win, if he left one up for the hundred, sadly his last split was to true and another game for Springbok bit the dust.
As ever a great evening with our friends from the Blue Ship, plenty of banter and support, decent grub washed down with beer, what more do you need, apart from a win :(

Had he left the one up like we all seem to do as a norm then the game would have been won, as never seen him miss the 100 on the home table, hey ho
