Mill House 2, Roffey Club Y 3 Roffey side looks none the worse for clearing out some dead wood from last year ;D and now features the reigning Doubles World Champion - who was very complimentary about the table !
Johnny Haigh 4960, James Rourke 1340 Barry Timson 3200, Micky Fairs 3510 Vicky Timson 1050, Moose 8590 Tony Franks 1340, Gareth Lloyd 9850 (inc.9.5k break) tommo 6970, Dick Cable 1030
Result could have gone the other way: with the bar gone, Barry needed 430 with most of the balls left. He was half-way to the target with the red and two whites left. He shunned a straight pot of the red into the 50 as he had worked out a way to win without having to go for the last ball - but nothing went down and a grateful Micky put the red away.
A good evening, capped by some 4-pin fun afterwards...... ;)

And Tonys 100% goes with it! ::)

Did Tony a disservice - he had phoned at 5.30 to say he was feeling under the weather but we had already left to dine out at the Mill House. He turned up anyway, bless 'im. 8-)
