Just been watching Silent Witness (I don't get control of the remote in my house) only to see a man walk into what appears to be a London pub (albeit a very quiet one) and sure enough, there is a Bar Billiards table by the door.
For those interested in viewing it is about 30mins into the programme. The guy who walks past it - I don't know the actors name but- used to play Mick (or in scouse Micccchhhhh!) in Brookside many years ago.
Tommo - which pub is it?

A rather difficult task you've set me ! There's a clip of Silent Witness on YouTube, set in a pub, where Emilia Fox has a sudden snog, but amongst all the excitement I couldn't spot a b-b table! They're sitting by a huge fireplace which looks a dead ringer for the Cricketers, Ockley (where Oliver Reed climbed up the chimney as a prank before surprising the barmaid with a sooty hug) but it can't be that one as the bar is in the wrong place. More clues needed ! As for the early episodes of Hustle, Reevesey gave us this intelligence: The pub that was used as the 'local' in the first 2 series of 'Hustle' on BBC had a bar billiards table. This was set in London, not too far from the London Eye I think. It seemed to be the same type as we are used to rather than the London equivalent with the 4 pegs in front of the holes. Margo and I were up in London on Tuesday and had a great view of the London Eye which is by the 'wobbly' Millennium Bridge. We were on the South Bank though and walked down through Lambeth and found a nice big pub with a Jelkes table (The Ship). However.......some research on Hustle reveals that many of the scenes in Hustle, whilst showing a London backdrop, were actually shot in Birmingham. So here again the results are inconclusive. :-/

Bit of research suggests The Greyhound Pub, Wembley.
Though its boarded up on Streetview.

Yeah, looks a nice pub with recent furnishings.
I've had a look now at the episode and it still seems to be set around the Westminster area, but the pub could be anywhere due to the magic of splicing.
