Three Bees 3, Mill House 2
Mike Lennon 800, Mick H. 4430 John Tudhope 2170, Graham D. 1150 Dave Tomsett 3900, tommo 1620 Lin Lennon 1470, Alan D. 4460 Dave Lennon 4310, Johnny H. 2740
Neither myself nor Graham made any sense of the table, but Johnny could have clinched it for us in the decider but pegged a useful 700 which let Dave in for a winning break. So Three Bees do the double over us, and well done to them, especially as they were without Steve Eely (bad back).

Southwater 4, Stout House A 1
Well, most of us completely failed to make any sense of the Southwater table, only Pete T getting the break back at a reasonable point for our only win. Tony had no luck, JT failed to start, Sam was bold but again no luck, & I tied the red up near the D early on, & failed to get anything down when it freed up with 5 minutes to go. Well played to the Southwater gents. Scores as played:
Ray 3540, Tony 2480 Mel 2770, Pete T 4120 Tony F 7280, JT 1250 Tony T 3330, Sam 1510 Keith 2300, Pete H 1390

Stout House Z's 3 Springbok Club 2
John 2000 Trevor 2300
I got my nose in front and stayed there for all of the game. Junkie had no luck at all and despite a spirited fight back at the end when the 200 pocket would have leveled the game, fell short.
Denise 2570 Alice 330
Alice valiantly stepped in to cover for illness. Both ladies struggled with the table, though Denise's experience was always going to shine through.
Richard 5750 Graham 1190
A bright start from Graham only led to him pegging, RP stuck 1.5K on the board, fairly matched by a 1K from Graham. RP then got into the flow putting 4K on the board to take the game.
Andy 5490 Gary 2750
Gaz started well and even though came up short on a split Dorsal did not build on the mistake. Gaz had the chance to put the game to bed, but missed a crucial shot, allowing Dorsal to develop a match winning break.
Rick 2330 Bill 2750
Bill started well and managed to stay in front for the whole game. Rick fought bravely to get break back, but it just would not happen.
A great result for us Springbok lads and lass, the table was a bit quirky at the bottom, so may account for the result. The break however was fine, so it was a case of getting it back.
Great night with the Stout House Z's, friendly banter as ever, and some nice sandwiches to finish the night on.
