Hi
Can anyone point me in the right direction. There was a thread about a team looking to play a friendly game when any teams had a bye. Springbok has a bye next week and willing to travel to the venue for a game.
Can anyone provide venue and contact details.
Many thanks
Trevor

Trev
I have just sent you an E-Mail as below
"This team is The Plough in Crawley, who are thinking about playing matches against Horsham League sides when they have a bye
The problem is that I don’t think that they have been able to raise a team to date
See the Horsham League Proboard under the thread “New Venue”
It would be nice if you could arrange a match against them, I did send them a letter suggesting that if they could raise a Wednesday side, the Billingshurst League would be happy to accomodate them. But as of yet I have had no response
Address 181 Three Bridges Road, Three Bridges, Crawley, RH10 1LG. Phone Number 01293 513714
Let me know if you have any success, then maybe other teams in our league can play them"

This was the thread, Trevor, on the Horsham Board: barbilliards.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=horsham&action=display&thread=14016The Black Dog were due to take them on this Tuesday but when I spoke to one of their players last Wed. he wasn't sure if it was going to happen. Best thing is to have a chat with Steve King, who is acting as a go-between and happens also to be the Black Dog captain. I will turn up his number and send it to you via PM (= private message on here). If the Plough TB v Black Dog match is off, the Black Dog may be willing to host a friendly against you themselves to take its place! Regards, tommo

Cheers JT and Tommo
Looks like it wont happen even against the team from Northgate as we cannot play on a Tuesday night owing to other commitments.
Never mind it was just a thought to encourage new teams.
Appreciate both of your help.
Trevor
