Hi All
We finally got a decent table on Sunday and assembled it. It came from the long closed St Ann's Cross PH which has been shut about 20 years. I have spoken to some oldies who remember it there about 50 years ago. It is a Riley table and has a serial number. I would love to find out the history does anyone know if this is possible? Also need to update the coin mech as it is on 20p at the moment, it will take me another 50 years to pay for it! Look forward to seeing any of you if you around our way! Thanks Nuala

Thanks Nuala The Old Wine Vaults Faversham Kent Hi Nuala and welcome to the Forum. Tracing individual tables is very difficult but Riley is still an active company and it may be that they keep old records and could tell you when the table was made at least. As far as the coin mechanism is concerned, I'm fairly sure (but open to correction) that it is just a matter of replacing or adapting the coin accepting plate within the clock. If you can look inside the other one in Faversham and measure the slot it may be easier. The coin slot on top of the table will also need filing to accept a £1 coin. Well done on buying the table though... Tony

Thanks Tony. On freeplay at the moment as the accepting arm broke, hopefully a new one is being made. Nuala
