Hi Lewes BB Fans
Result card for The Star v The Cock
Tony Smith 2660 v 1960 Huw Lincoln Colin Southouse 4770 v 140 Mick Kirwan bp Phil Osbourne 2930 v 1300 Adam Cheesmur Stewart Chant 2480 v 2770 Bob Procter Bob Osbourne 3510 v 2790 Ben Procter
result The star win 4-1
A very difficult Star top tonight whippy with a right hand roll, apologies to the cock, which was well supported tonight.
All had plenty of chances tonight but the home team struggled through by the skin of their teeth in most games causing the cock to slump to an unrepresentative game tally.
The cock can stand proud tonight with an overall improvement in their game play
Also plenty of laughs and a nice double pizza for the interval

BREWERS ARMS:4 PLOUGH:1
Lynne:1800 Chase:4040 Paul:2550 Fenella:1170 Spud:3760 Trevor:1470 Bravo:8380 John:1720 Andy:7870 Geoff:4050
Some points of interest: Lynne was once again going great guns but 4-broke when ahead to let Chase in for the win. Trevor lost his opener of 3k5 and then couldn't get going again. A welcome apperance for Bravo in the Lewes league and he played a blinder, leaving John lillte chance. Geoff off early and the Farmer was straight in for 7k. Geoff fought back very well to top score for his side.
Great evening with the Plough and a pretty good result for us all told. Cheers all.

This series of League matches now played with a few weeks break before the final 4 matches of the season, here is the latest table....
Pos Team Played Won Draw Lost For Against Points
1 Bridge 10 6 0 4 35 15 35 2 Laughing Fish 10 9 0 1 33 17 33 3 Star Eastbourne 10 6 0 4 29 21 29 4 Brewers Arms 10 5 0 5 27 23 27 5 Plough Plumpton 10 4 0 6 23 27 23 6 Black Horse 10 5 0 5 21 29 21 7 CKRBL 10 3 0 7 20 30 20 8 Cock Inn 10 2 0 8 12 38 12
The defending champions return to the top of the table and with all the top 4 teams winning this week a gap has opened up between these teams and the rest of the League.... lots still to play for in the last 4 games of the season. 8-)
