Ever wondered where all those planes are going? Well, this is such a brilliant site that now you'll know; www.flightradar24.com/Click on any of the aircraft to see real-time info about it. Wait until one is over your town and then go outside and see it!! (as long as you're not up to no good, of course... ;D) You can even get a Google map view out of it's cockpit! (you need the latest version of Googlemaps) Tony

That's very good, Tony, and the map extends round the whole globe......

I've been hooked on this app for more than two years now. It has improved steadily since I first downloaded it and now is by far the best on the AppStore.

Certainly very impressive.... 8-) ....although a bit surprised that information like that is available to the public? :o
I'm glad that I'm not a flight controller having to sort out the planes flying over Europe.... ;D

Interesting, in a similar vein the AIS shipping movements have always been of great interest to me.
Could not get cockpit view working in Internet Exploder, when I finally got it working in Firefox the first plane I noticed was approaching Guernsey Airport, the problem was the plane was flying backwards on the track, the cockpit view was going backwards, the name of the operating company??? you're not going to believe this!!! Specsavers Aviation ;D.
Now would you fly on a plane from Specsavers Aviation?
Sav.
