Not looking good for the Six Ringers, Leverington (PE13 5AS) - or for Wisbech in general !
(Landlord has tried to sell as a business but has given up, now to be a private dwelling)

No peg in front of the 100 pocket?? :/ Ah, but that's only practice before a tournament, Tony..... I sometimes prepare for a rare foray into 3-Pin with no pegs on the table at all: I find they only get in the way ! Going back to this one, they filmed the actual final, and yes, we have no 100 'shroom !
Hopefully Snookerette still alive and well at Louth Town & Country Club (albeit non-league). Table looks shockingly downhill, though ....

A Google check reveals that the Q Club in Boston (PE21 6EZ) is permanently closed. A former venue for the World 3-ball Billiards Championships.

I have had a word with 'The Bell' at Murrow. The landlord Alan took over in Januaru 2018 from 'Mark' and he brought the table back in the pub. As the table belongs to the players it will certainly be used again in the pub or shifted to one that will take them and their table. Alan closed the pub on March 23rd and has given Elgoods the problem of re-opening it after Covid. So to me, The Bell at Murrow is still in it.
I'm awaiting a reply from Wenn's Chop and Ale House.
wrong place but; I called that Cowdenbeath pub and the two in Glasgow last year, I was on Bute for NYE last year and tried about 6 pubs up there that were listed. none of them had a table but other than the Cowdenbeath pub and the Bon Accord I can't recall which ones. Those two don't have tables. if they were on the (mid/south) west coast though, I asked them and they didn't have a table.
Cheers

The Chequers Inn, High Road, Tholomas Drove, Wisbech St. Mary PE13 4SL has taken the table from the Bell at Murrow which is due to re-open in the Autumn but for sure - at the moment - the table now resides at the Chequers permanently.

Thanks Taffy, You kinda gain the impression that the Bell is a mainstay for Snookerette in the area so hope it returns - even if it is with a different table. Will add the Chequers.
Cheers, tommo

Bell, Murrow showing up now on Google as 'temporarily closed'. League Headquarters appears to be the Golf Club, who have recently refreshed their website thus: www.gedneyhillgolfclub.com/Pic there of the covered-up table in the main bar: Attachments:

The Bell at Murrow is back open and the landlady wants to put a table in an outbuilding but has an enormous Pizza oven in the way first to overcome.
There's no table at the legendary Dambuster Inn, Scampton. "Not been a table here for years".
cheers

From Taffy’s Cambs and Newmarket Facebook:
(Quoting Brodie Ellis) Wisbech Town Cricket & Hockey Club, Harecroft Road Playing Fields, Wisbech PE13 1RL
Though Wisbech is in Cambs, this counts as 'Fenland' with potential for the Gedney Hill Snookerette League.

Is the Gedney Hill League still in existence? I can find no mention of it since before covid

Is the Gedney Hill League still in existence? I can find no mention of it since before covid As far as I can establish from snippets gleaned from Taffy's Facebook, the G/H HQ is now the Golf Course, whose website shows a covered up table in the Clubhouse. The Bell Murrow were leading lights in the league but their table was installed in the Chequers whilst the pub was undergoing a post-Covid refurbishment. Now they want a table back there but it may be sourced from elsewhere ..... In the past, Gedney Hill has run an additional summer league, but no mention of that at present; but come the autumn - who knows ?

Looks pretty unlikely then as no mention on any social media.
Leave it as a league on the map and review in the autumn.
