4 - Can't remember the exact amount, but it was more than the 375 Brian Lara got as the record, but less than the 400 Brian Lara got a year or so later to beat it! 5 - If in a test match, got to be Jim Laker 10-53 ? 24 - Barcelona 2-0 Man Utd

2. 175 goals, including the one he scored in 2012 while on loan from the New York Red Bulls. 4. 380 against Zimbabwe in 2003, which beat Brian Lara's previous test record at the time.... only for Lara to then hit 400 not out a few months later. :o 13. 2. 175 goals, including the one he scored in 2012 while on loan from the New York Red Bulls. 2. Thierry Henry scored 175 premier league goals. My answer of 228 included cup matches. Thierry scored 42 European goals including 35 in the European cup. The rest were scored in FA cup/League cup and Community shield matches. I believe the question asked how many goals did Thierry score for the Arsenal

12 I have three alternatives for you:
a) (if a One Day International World Cup match counts as a Test) Herschell Gibbs (S.A) 6 sixes v.Holland in 2007.
otherwise it's four: b) Shahid Alfridi for Pakistan v India in 2005 (6,6,6,6,2,1) c) Kapil Dev for India v England (0,0,6,6,6,6 off Eddie Hemmings, Lords, 1990)
Of course, none of these compare with the great W.I. Gary Sobers's 6 sixes in a first-class match (Glamorgan v Notts 1968) - 45 years ago but still fresh in the memory and will remain so long after the 4-in an over ones have been forgotten or surpassed ! ;D

14. Three by Sir Chris Hoy, Beijing 2008. (His other three Olympic golds were in 2004 (1) and 2012 (2). Watch out for cycling's golden pair Jason Kenny and Laura Trott - 2 golds each in 2012 and with time on their side !

My quiz doesnt seem to be that popular ;) It's a great quiz, Phil, and it's probably just that we've exhausted our abilities to provide educated guesses, and will soon be obliged to resort to Googling the last few answers !

23. Rivaldo's combined career goal talley 382 club plus 34 International = 416. Rivaldo star of the funniest-ever bit of play-acting I've seen on a football field: Turkish defender Hakan Ünsal kicked a ball towards Rivaldo, who was waiting at the corner flag. The ball struck his thigh, but Rivaldo fell to the ground clutching his face. The referee sent the Turkish player off with a second yellow card.
