Well done to Dave Place. After a thrilling game where he beat me on the last ball after managing to keep the red up under difficult circumstances, I am surprised to see he managed a score of 10510. What hole on the table did he put the ball down? the 9000 hole. I'm sure he will agree he scored less than two thousand points! I would like the published result changed to reflect reality. I acknowledge I lost but keep it realistic....

PS: some of the other scores are blatently wrong as well.

Mark,
Thanks for noticing the incorrect scores, I have explained the mistake on the tournaments boards. I can change the publshed result but maybe you can get me the correct scores.
I would consider that more helpful than the sarcasm
Thanks

Nigel replied before I could delete this, so I'll leave it for now.
Totally unnecessary sarcastic post where an email would have been appropriate and comment had already been made under the Tournaments thread.
Mistakes can be made, but Nigel can only publish the scores he gets from the captains, where was yours?
I've deleted the anonymous abusive follow up post.

I totally agree with Nige and Sav,
and, Mark, if you regret making your post I think an apology, or similar, wouldn't go amiss.

I don't think any hurt was intended by my dad, this is a bit harsh!
I and my dad really enjoyed the day, this has been a mishap, yes we all do it.
Keith will correct the scores when he posts them.

It amazes me that a light hearted comment and friendly dig can illicit such a response. Well done again to Dave Place. I enjoyed the game.
