Hi, I'm looking to build a Bar Billiard Table but need an accurate layout of the table markings and hole positions. Do you know where i can get hold of a drawing or even plans of a BB Table. Many thanks

Why on earth would you want build one for, get yourself a Jelkes table, if you like one that you can restore, or go all the way and buy a restored one, would be alot of aggro building one when there are lots of good ones for sale :D

Hi morri, I needed measurements for holes in a slate last year so I trudged around the local pubs with tables and measured the hole locations and found that each table was different, up to inch difference on occasions (or was that the booze :-/). I don’t know if there are any accurate drawings available, I’m currently working on a set of for my own table when I find time. For measurements I’d have a quick look at the All England Bar Billiards Association site , there is some info about spots, D’s, baulk lines and table sizes in the rules. ( www.aebba.org/AEBBA_Rules.shtml) If you are interested, I have a design an electronic timer that'll cost you about 12 quid or so. Good luck with your project. Gazza

While waiting for approval I too would like to know about plans. I did find a site that will be making a KIT all you will have to do is build the main frame and they send you all he parts and hardware needed. It is not available yet. I live in Texas and shipping can be a bit pricey. My friend and I are always building things including the Bar in my garage. This would be a great addition to it if I could find more info. Any additional info would be great. Thanks

That's narrow Sam's config not standard width, note the diamond shape of the front four holes.
On standard width the two 50 holes are nearer the 200 than 100,
Better than nothing though!!

Just needs a draughtsman then to update the drawing with the advisory measurements. ;) By draughtsman I mean someone with drawing board skills, rather than someone who can pull a good pint ! ;D

Has anyone followed this up with accurate measurements and/or a plan of standard width please? I have a query from Australia on table playing surface plans from someone who wants to construct a table.
Sav.
