CKRBL 3 Black Horse 2
Wins for Ted Stringer, myself and Dave Page (CKRBL) and Jan Bithell and Dave Todd (I think) for the Black Horse in a close match.
All the games had fairly low scores as we all struggled to play well off the spot, with Peter Edwards, myself and Ric Bithell joining the "Black Peg Brigade" at some stage during our games!
Another very enjoyable evening though, played in the best spirit.

Scores as requested from the Droops v Bridge match
Marcus 'chippers' Chipman B/P Adam 'master' Bateup 2020 Lee 'strong and silent' Chipman 1520 Richard 'sir jock' Jeffrey 2880 Kevin 'stonehead' Stoner B/P Kevin 'BB chipolata' Hall 2430 Alan 'wedded bliss' Brackenridge 3930 peter 'papa' Hall 890 Jean 'nice arse' Brackenridge 450 Andy 'tiny tim' Farmer-Wright 3930
A great night had by all, with some very uncharacteristic displays of sheer rubbish from the Bridge lot. :) ;) Marcus black pegging whilst comfortably in front of master bateup, ;D Lee messing up his break to let yours truly in for the kill, ;D and the look on Jeans kiss box when Kevin tried to slip a tight cut into the 200 and black pegging, whilst only about 500 behind, was indeed a picture. :o :'( ;D , andthen adding insult by black pegging again at the finish losing his massive score of 80 ??? ???, Alan stayed strong with his teams performance of the evening against a willing but struggling papa Hall, ;D and again the usually strong Jean struggled badly having one of those 'nothing going down nights' came a cropper against an in form farmer-Wright with our best performance of the evening. ;D ;D
All this and the incessant barricking from the dugouts made for a great laugh and a real fun night, ;D ;D ;D coupled with a lovely stew of as yet unidentified meat, ??? ??? but great non the less. :) The Droops being the current league leaders and holders of this prestigious trophy march on and on and ariston. ;D ;D ;D ;D
