Following the great success of this years 4-pin open organised by Carl and played in Norwich, the Suffolk Bar Billiards Association are happy to announce that next years 4-pin open will be held in Sudbury, Suffolk at the Grover & Allen on Saturday 22nd March 2014.
Entry fee will be the same as last year at £10 per person and is on a strictly first-come first-served basis.
A entry form is attached to this post, if you have any difficulties downloading it please email me at email@example.com and I will be happy to email a copy to you. Hopefully Sav will also put a copy on the AEBBA site
Only completed entry forms submitted with the correct entry fee will be considered and the closing date for all entries will be 15 Feb 2014
It would help us if you can use this post to let us know who is interested and try not to go off topic.

Thnaks for the interest shown so far, can you please let me know if you have been able to down load the entry form etc?
Also please remember that the defending champion has automatic and free entry into next years open, so just make a note on the entry form when sending it in so Del doesn't think the entry fee is a tenner short.
I was speaking to Del last night and he tells me that from all the names above he has only had one completed entry form so far with just one name although he has received others from people not mentioned above
Fantastic that the organisation for the Open up and running!! I'm so so pleased, well done! Im trying to get the entry form put onto the Norwich Bar Billiards website and facebook page, do you have a link to the form so I can put it onto facebook, as you cant seem to put the form on as a file???
Its easy enough to do, right click on the PDF, save target as, choose somewhere on your PC where you can find it. Then add file to your Facebook group. I've just done it on the British Bar Billiards FB group British Bar Billiards FB group
Adopted Cornishman, VERY rusty bar billiards player & Pussy lover WE WANT KIPLING, BRING BACK KIPLING
I've added a list of entries received so far at the top of this page.
Due to communication issues this may well already be out of date but it was correct as of last weekend.
Entry forms are sent to Del and I don't expect him to email me with updates on an hourly or daily basis at this point but I will update the list as soon as I hear anything.
For those of you wishing to stop over in Sudbury on the Friday and/or Saturday night we will be compiling a list of B & B's and hotels in the area and posting it on here in the near future. I know Chris C is in the process of contacting local places at the moment.
May I ask why you need the entries in so early ? Nearly THREE months before the date of the tournament seems a long time to me! I haven't decided yet whether to enter or not and won't be making my mind up before the New Year, so it looks as if I will have to miss this one next year.
Proud holder of the World Record score for Off The Spot of 25,950.
PS of course there is only 1 scalp i'm really after, mind you it'll be quite hard to get for a couple of reasons......
The boss reckons it was Curt Driver you were referring to and not me at all ! Makes sense to aim for the top !
one step at a time tommo,... Curt will be a tough nut to crack but i think the sudbury boys will all have a better game plan this year and it will be hard for the tipsters to get it right. Quite fancy Chris Haynes and Stu Caruthers this time round particularly if the proper mushrooms are in play!
PS i can see Dave and Ian are goin to need extra medication if we carry on about 4 pin too much... so keep em comin
No, not at all.... it's great to see so much interest in any competition and a bit of friendly banter always makes for good entertainment so keep up the good work guys! [/quote] perhaps the sudbury lads ought to do a 3 pin summer league!!!!
Just think of all the tournaments they wont be able to enter... such a shame not to have their enthusiasm and capacity for fun for all to see down south!
Just spotted this one on the smiley chart its called a "BBW or Chubster Post" brilliant
Yes, it would be great to see some 4-pinners trying their luck in the 3-pin competition.... .... but think that its unlikely to happen.... .... perhaps the "poor mans game" is just too easy for them.... .... or maybe it is simply that the big scores by some of the 3-pin players puts them off the idea?
Gandalf, i'm amazed that you hadn't spotted before, perhaps we need to get a smiley named after you.... .... we wouldn't want a like you to feel left out!
