SMALL FLUFFY SHEEP:0 ABBATOIR WORKERS:5 I'll let dave fill in the grusome details... Good night though. Well, whatever I say can't top that post.... Hassocks Hotel 0 Laughing Fish 5 Richard Spurrier 1,710 - 11,720* Dave Ingram Derek Taylor 3,720* - 6,840 Bill Kerr Peter Edwards 3,550 - 8,490* Ian Lelliott Andy Farmer-Wright 0* - 5,640 Rick Cunningham Dilly Williamson 1,850 - 10,120* Tony Jenner Our first visit to one of the new venues and we were all very impressed, a nice room on its own for the bar billiard table with (just about) enough room for all of us, a really nice selection of pizzas and live football on many of the big screens within the pub. The table was playing nicely and we certainly didn't expect to come away with the result that we did, most games were in the balance but we took our chances well in the latter stages of all of the games. High Away Breaks - 6,240 Dave Ingram, 5,110 Ian Lelliott, 6,420 Tony Jenner. A very enjoyable evening in good company.

Cock n Balls 1 - 4 Glynde Club
Ben Procter 4130 4310 Colin Southouse Bob Procter 1060 4730 Alec Pope Alex Schlup 1900 1960 Chris Turner Huw Lincoln 1350 3230 Fred Pope Mick Kirwan 5590 4670 Sandy Harmer
colin opened with1k then left the 1 up short, then promptly knocked the black over on the way down all looked hopeless with ben 4k ahead but a nice comeback break and playout 3.8k just pipped bens score. Alec got the break back early and opened with a brace of 2ks making thinks difficult for no luck tonight Bob. Chris and Alex struggled for the whole match, Chris was working on a small break at the bar and potted the red in the 100 at the second attempt top take a well earned win. Fred played steadily and opened up a gradual 2k lead which was enough to quell the late arriving Huw. Sandy started well and looked in control opening up a 4k lead, Mick played a blinder to get the break back a few times and played the table out with 4.5k to save the whitwash and make the top score of the night.
Fine evening and great food at the cock and a pleasant surprise to see a flat top tonight, no complaints here and again well done to the table monitors at the cock
