Watermill Phoenix 2, Horns Lodge 3
Ade White 1390, Kev Stevens 1740 (very tight game could have gone either way)
James Seaton 980, Tufty Croft 2210 (James had no luck and Tufty kept plugging away)
Nigel Bransby BP, Pete Shaw 2070 (same for Nigel, BP'd going for glory at the end)
Jan Hinkins 930, Dave Tiffin BP (2.5K in front, 2 balls left, 1 behind 30 - clipped it, came down the table and hit the black peg)
Malcolm Fuller 3590, Sam Hall 1320 (Malcolm too strong for Sam)
All in all a very enjoyable evening at Worlds End. Thanks to the Phoenix team for their hospitality.

The scores from the above match:
Geoff:5610 Bravo:1900 Chase:3300 Spud:3090 Dave:9300 Nikki:0 Jan:230 lynne:1510 To be fair, Jan had over 5k but an unfortunate black peg spoilt the party. Darren:5640 Paul:180
Unhappy visit for the Bravos but a good evening nonetheless.

Only Me Congratulations To Hassocks B on their first win in Mid Sussex. My first ever visit to the place, and I must say I think it is a cracking pub. Just got out of bedders with a thumping heed. TSO

Hurst Club 5 Watermill 0
Pete 3270 Martin 2470 Martin got 650 on his opening break and then came off then Pete got 850 and then pegged it Martin got another 850 + 120 Pete then got the break back and got 1530 and held on but it was closer than the score suggested Lorraine 9050 Kim 2760 Lorraine broke of with 1770 Kim just managed a score of 350 before Lorraine got another break of 2000+ followed by another 4000+ Kim then managed a break of 2150 but had more than enough and she played very well. Rob 6910 Gavin 4080 This was a really good game and could have gone either way it was any ones game untill Rob got the break back about 10 mins from the end and knocked up a break of 3440 Richard 7280 Norman 4420 Another cracking game which again could have gone either way Richard broke off with 5180 but eventually Norman got the break back and got 4300 Richard then got another 1650 which saw him home. Andy 2780 Paul 2190 And again another game which could have gone either way Andy struggled for a lot of the game with so many balls on the table and I was just happy to keep scoring even if it was just a few hundreds.I kept the lead untill about five mins from the end and then Andy got the break back and saw the game out. All in all a very enjoyable evening and some very close games and I do not honestly think we deserved to lose by that score but there you are well done Hurst Club
