22mm of rain fell on Crawley overnight and it seems Armageddon is approaching ! The source of the River Mole is Ifield Mill Pond (just round the corner from us) and the Mole flows north-westerley via Leatherhead, eventually joining the Thames at Molesey. There is a red warning flood alert covering the whole of the tributary at present. Thought I'd have a stroll round the corner again to see how the land lies and I must say I've never seen the levels of the pond so high or the water gush through the culverts so fiercely: Attachment Deleted Attachments:
