Congratulations to the White Hart A who, in beating us 4-2 tonight, win the Littlehampton League for this season. I will be back with the details tomorrow

Thanks for the chocolate biscuits Matt. Well done to my team for the third season in a row. A draw would have sufficed but a 4-2 win was nice. It would be great to finish the season off undefeated

Charles Dickens 2-4 White Hart A Pete 2330 - 3640 Stu Colin 3180 - 9250 KT Matt 1770 - 4460 TJ Nigel 14,750 - 0 Martin Matt/Pete 2400 - 2710 Martin/TJ Nigel/Colin 20,530 - 0 KT/Stu It was clear very early on that playing anything 'normal' on the Charles Dickens table was going to prove near impossible. The reverse break had to be applied and KT started it off with a quality break of just under 8k bearing in mind it was his first go!! Nigel then made an 11k break to give us our only singles win of the evening. Quite how we lost the 5th leg will remain a mystery for ever, you had to be there otherwise you would not believe me when I told you a door got in the way of somebody's head and a simple touch up to win the leg went horribly wrong The night ended with a quite amazing all reverse break from Nigel of 20,530 First Kevin and then Nigel made a very difficult table look so simple whilst it impossible for the rest of us to get the break and then the one up, let alone the split Well done to them, and of course to the White Hart for winning the league, congratulations Very entertaining evening with plenty of banter, played in a most eerie light
