Only moi Saints beat the Hassocks B 3-2 Peter Geal 1180 Chris Lambe 1430 Nip and tuck the whole way. Chris made a 700 break just before the bar, which was decisive.
TSO 5000 Dom Ashby 480 TSO did not take advantage of the break. Scored well without getting the break back until getting it back just before the bar.
Bob Ellis 1730 Adam Ruffle 1180 Victory 'ground out' in the style of Ellis.
Manly Harveys 3950 Barry West 1380 MH always in control
Roger Wallbank BP Bob Lansdall 2810 Roger BP'p when beaten.
Very enjoyable evening with the new boys. They seem to take a pride in improving, knowing their best score to date, and each others. Good company whether they win or lose. We know this because it was Saints who were their first victim. TSO

Horns Lodge 2, Phoenix 3
Very close match against our mid-table rivals went to the visitors care of Adrian playing a blinder at the end. As usual with the Phoenix team, a good fun evening with lots of friendly banter.
