With just three weeks left, Plough lead on 104pts, Hurst are on 102pts and Hassocks A on 97pts. Congratulations to Bravos' Adam Bateup. who has already secured the Div.1 Player of the Year award by a considerable margin.

Phoenix 2 Watermill 3
Jan 1400 Gavin 1810 Gavin missed the break completely and after that it seemed to be a struggle he got a decent lead but Jan came back at the end but ran out of time. James 1760 Martin 850 James started well and built up a bit of a lead and Martin struggled and never managed to get the break back which may have made a difference Nigel 1450 Paul 1890 I broke off with about 900 and never got the break back but managed some small scores to keep the board moving.Nigel struggled at the beginning but gradually got going but again ran out of time. Adrian 3830 Kim 3510 This was just a case of Kim getting going to late as he really seemed to struggle for most of the game.Got a decent break of over 2000 late on but as I said just to late. Norman W/O
Phoenix only had the four players which was unfortunate for them as another player would obviously have made a difference. All in all a very enjoyable evening.

HHUSC A 4, Horns Lodge 1
First three games were very scrappy - the table seemed very whippy and everyone was struggling. A break for grub changed everything and the scores in the last two games were far more like it. Kev Stevens grabbed one back for the Horny Ones in a very exciting game against Sparky, and Terry was in excellent form in the final game to claim the highest score of the evening against Pete.

LAUGHING FISH:3 BREWERS BRAVOS:2
Ray:3170 Nikki:1080 Joeseph Carpenter:1160 Lynne:2650 Henry:10,430 Paul:1160 Les:3440 Bravo:2160 Andy:750 Spud:10,880
Special mention must go to young Joeseph. He is aged just 11 and a lot of people were watching his match but he played very decently and certainly could have had a lot more. The shots all seemed there (the break went down first time of asking) and it will be interesting to see him develop. Bravos loss also makes the POY race incredibly tight. This one coiuld go all the way. Always a lovely evening at the Fish. Great beer and food and thanks for their hospitality. Cheers all.
