I can confirm that the dates for 2015 will be 6th/7th/8th March 2015
The deal, as previously announced, will be held exactly the same as last year with a couple of minor additions. The proviso will be that playing is conditional upon residency as per last year's AGM. Chrissie and I have sole control of hotel bookings up until the end of 2014. After that the hotel are free to accept outside bookings for rooms we have not allocated.
I propose to ask for registrations and a £25 deposit per person payable by the end of December, balance to be paid by the end of January.
Chris Saville.

Any chance of another race night? Don't know about anyone else, but I thought it was great fun, and I won quite a bit of money :)

Chris Saville. Good news that we will have the same (excellent) deal from the hotel for next year, well done to Chris & Chrissie for negotiating that deal for us all. Do we know when entry forms will be available?

National Pairs Competition at The Queens in Bournemouth entry forms are now available on the AEBBA website.
www.aebba.org.uk/a_entry_forms.shtml
Please note the new style entry form this year and also the filled example.
Please remember to add your competition entry payments.
As usual rooms will be confirmed ONLY for those who have paid in full on the closing date at the end of January 2015 and only paid entries will be included in the draw.
One again we have an excellent deal, prices held from last year, with additional B&B options this year.
Cancellations will be fully refundable up until the closing date when I confirm rooms with the hotel.

I will have forms with me at Jersey and will be happy to receive deposits.
A few entries have arrived here in the last few days, but I will not start to correlate and publish them until after Jersey.

Hi Craig,
Just the £25 is all that is required to register, balance including entry fee by the end of January. If you want to pay the entry now that is fine by me.
Thx
Sav

It would help if no BACS payments for Bournemouth 2015 were made today or tomorrow whilst statements are being drawn off for the Treasurer to finalise the AEBBA accounts for 2014.
Thx

Thanks Tony but the latest lot were accepted (three payable to AEBBA). Chrissie and I have both had difficulties with Jobsworths at LLoyds as AEBBA is not a recognised alias on the All England Bar Billiards Association account.
It may seem entirely obvious but it depends on the mood of the counter staff! To alter account details with Lloyds is also a nightmare with all signatories having to sign a paper mandate which is rejected at the slightest reason from our experience. Any alteration then has to be initialled by all three signatories.

I suppose it's understandable - these types of community account have been extensively ripped off in the past...

Hi Champs,
Friday is hissup day, evening entertainment TBA
Saturday morning main pairs starts, hangovers allowing. All best of two legs, plate for losers of first game, Saturday evening international plus entertainment, Sunday pairs continues, four legs from semis. all normally finished by around 1600hrs on Sunday.
There will be a practice table this year which I will talk to the AEBBA committee re giving Guernsey players priority on.
Look forward to seeing you! (and receiving entries!)
