Top answer for 2pts....yes it's the Finals only we're concerned with. The semi-final between W.Germany and France was epic - 1-1 after 90 minutes and some gripping action in extra time, the Germans equalising at 3-3 with a bicycle kick goal from Schumacher who had earlier broken a French players jaw with a mis-timed tackle.

They then came from behind again in the penalty shoot-out to take it 5-4 and went on to lose to Italy in the Final.
