Windmill GG | Score | Big Bulls | Score | Mick Holmwood | 3530 | Peter Payne | 1000 | Tony Franks | 2880 | Bob Osborne | 1090 | Clive Thompson | 1630 | Phil Osborne | 2180 | Mick Holmwood | 2390 | Peter Payne | 1360 | Tony Franks | 1970 | Bob Osborne | 740 | Clive Thompson | 600 | Phil Osborne | 4850 | Result | 4 | Resullt | 2 |
Great result for our team with Mick re-finding his form, but mine deserting me.....Bar went at the wrong time in the first, but Phil had really sorted the pace of the table out for the second which he dominated with breaks of 1890, 1750 and 1460. He also had a 1200 in the first leg, and Mick had one of 1010. The table played well, as demonstrated by Peter and Gandalf in a knockabout afterwards. A good evening played in a friendly and sporting atmosphere.

Some good home scores from Mike and Tony with Tommo a bit under the cosh with his opponent, the opportunities with the break were taken well by the hosts, with a first over 3k from a windmill player in a league match, hopefully the start of many.
nice pub as well

Stout House 3 Dun Horse A 3 Steve Hopkins | 2560 | Paul Jobbins * | 2000 | Iain Tarrant | 920 | Ian Giffen * | 2550 | Stu Carruthers * | 3500 | Richard Spurrier | 2040 | Steve Hopkins | 1850 | Paul Jobbins | 1860 | Iain Tarrant | 1090 | Ian Giffen | 1650 | Stu Carruthers | 2690 | Richard Spurrier | 2110 |
Another draw with some good play from everyone, I hit my best score so far Paul just nicked the 2nd round with a 200 to finnish & win by 10, Stu making good use of the 50 50 break & making breaks of 1190 & 1180. Richard making 2K in both games oh and a 50/100 split by myself in the 2nd Stu called the shot & I tried it expecting to get the 50 & miss the 100 but they both dropped Looking forward the return leg on Thursday.

Was a good night for our final 4-pin game at the Stout House (have gone though all our home games in the first five matches) and got two wins on my Tuesday night return. Thanks to Barry and the Stout House staff for hosting us over the summer.
Shot of the night was definitely Ian's 50/100 split shot, from the scorer's stool it did look on but very impressed when he got both balls down the middle of the pocket without touching either peg - pretty sure I would have taken both pegs out. Now he has shown it is on think we have the future of four-pin.... three breaks, one-up , split, repeat..... that easy!!!!
After a drawn first-leg last night there is all to play for in the return at the Dun Horse tomorrow night and very much looking forward to it.

Something doesnt look right to me Tommo. No I don't mean the Bull A are on top but who did they play to get them on 6 games when all others are on 5 No it's definitely correct as Bull A have played a match more than the rest. After tomorrow night both yourselves and YO Stout House will also have played 6, leaving us and the Bull B having played 5 as we have had our second half Byes. The Played column should always add up to an even number, as it has to be divisible by 2 to arrive at how many matches have actually been played (13 so far).
