It's a 'Private Members' Club'
I made them a sensible offer but they want the auction to run its course.

Sav If this is the table from the Comrades Club then i would suggest having a look at the table before committing to buy as they had a lot of issues with the table being dragged and moved during the few years they had a team, so their could be some damage to the legs.

Thanks Mark,
I had noticed the bent cue hook on the side which suggests poor handling

If I remember rightly their asking price was quite an unreasonable one as well.

Offered them a lot more than that early in the auction. This one's going to my league as I was bidding under their instruction. I expected it to go out of range for AEBBA current finances. Will be having a very close look before parting with folding stuff, any problems you know of?

There was a problem with one of the back legs along with the thread where it kept getting dragged around but i cannot remember which one! Had some strange rolls too so i would give the slate a good check (as much as you are able to!) Hope this helps!

Table collected.
Wood is in absolutely beautiful condition, slate has the regulation hairline from D to 200 despite the seller's assurances that all was well with the slate (told him where to look!). Hopefully will brace OK.

[EDIT] Closer examination shows the normal sag across the crack in the front middle, far end of slate fine, but considerable longitudinal sag along slate (easily fixed on support rails). It must have been a real swine to set-up!!!
