i will be 50, 12 days after this tournament.what is the rule on this ?? Rule 52 of AEBBA covers this question.... 52) In A.E.B.B.A. age related competitions, the player has to be under that age on the day of the competition, e.g.: under 25’s, and that age or over on the day, e.g.: over 50’s & over 60’s.Hopefully we will see you there next year YOUNG man.

Any idea of finish time we have just realised that it is Sussex inter league that night so would have to withdraw if to late a finish.

If we are there all dependent ton finish time add Tony Jenner, Rick Cunningham and Terry Molloy to the over 50s, as I have previously stated we have inter league in Hastings that evening and would need to get there by around 7.30pm, it will be a long day and a lot of driving for me but we wish to attend and support the AEEBA but would have to withdraw if the timings are not right, as with other commitments it is awkward to re-arrange the inter-league match.

Any idea of finish time as our inter-league game definitely goes ahead in the evening and wish to support these competitions but it is dependent on timings, there will definitely be no Bill Kerr either way. I would need to know fairly soon as have to arrange transport for rest of the inter-league side, thank you.

Problem is there may be entries on the day, so Nigel can only give an estimated finish time for those in at the final stage. Also if the same person is in more than one final (main or plate), that immediately adds 45 minutes as well (more if semis as well).
Hopefully it wont be too late as it will take me over 4 hours to get home!

Is there a predicted start and finish time for the under 25s at all? Because I need to be somewhere by about 5 at the latest.

If there is no person in both finals I estimate a 6.15 finish, if there is then a 7pm finish. With current numbers the 50 and 60s will be knockouts, the 25s will be a round robin.
If this means you will not attend, please post ASAP so I can amend the format to send to Dave.

Unfortunately with the expected finish times Tony Jenner, Terry Molloy and Rick Cunningham will have to withdraw from both the 50s and 60s apologies but the timings are going to be a rush for inter league in the evening.
