I'm sure we're all grateful that you wish to devote your time into attending the conference on the game's behalf - who better indeed than Sav ?
The main selling points for me would be.........
Universal appeal for young and old, male and female: we have a 12-year old in Sussex playing to Interleague standard - and in Jersey a guy won the World Championship a couple of weeks short of his 70th birthday. Some of the best women are quite capable of competing with the men on an equal footing. And people playing the game come from all walks of life.
There are numerous tiers to the game, the bottom of the pyramid being the non-league venues we have found throughout the country including far-off islands, upwards through standard league games in pubs and clubs, through organised Inter-league matches, then games at county level, national level (including Opens) and even International level where waistcoats are donned !
The game itself is a mixture of skills - the potting of snooker and the in-offs of billiards. On a relatively small table which can fit into the corner of a room, the effect of spin on the ball will be less than on a snooker table but more than on a pool table - on which you can hit the balls a lot harder but without the risk of a foul ! And to be a top player you need a thing called "bottle".
Taking a table over for demonstration will undoubtedly help, and I'm sure the Europeans will love it !
Some excellent thoughts there Clive, especially the ageless appeal of the game

Here is my draught presentation to the conference.
I have saved the slide-show as a movie file in case people do not have Power Point, I have also save it as a Power Point slide-show.
The pdf document is my governing script that I will refer to during the presentation, the slide numbers refer to the order in which the slides are presented in the slide show. The movie file will just run through the lot without pausing. I have not condensed the pictures as the presentation will be done via a projector to a large screen.
Save it and open it, then press space to get it started. Obviously the written document will control when the slides are presented, so is best printed out ready to view the slideshow.
There is a fairly detailed description of the background of the game as many of the EU people are not English and will have heard of the European versions, but not Bar Billiards. The presentation is designed to be completed within the seven minutes slot allocated.
Comments welcome

Extra light made up ready to take a table with me (Dover & Deal paying and will own it after).
Just need the cushion rail problem sorted so I can recover a spare Dover and Deal table to take with me.

Anyone any final thoughts before I head for Amsterdam on Wednesday morning?
Needless to say I've drawn the short straw and am up first on conference presentations!

In my experience of giving presentations at work, it is much better to be on first while everyone is still enthusiastic! Worst place is last when most people will be bored and just wanting to get to the pub or go home!
World Champion 2013, 2017, 2021 You're just jealous because the voices only talk to me.

Pessimistic maybe at the end, but realistic: putting it across for suggestions also a good idea rather than being too pushy.
Certainly the invention in recent years of even more variations such as "Trilliards" hasn't helped, neither have the Brewery conglomerates who foist 'inferior' kit onto the poor pub managers.....table doesn't last five minutes as nobody wants to play on it and bar billiards gets tarred with that brush, unfairly.
