Hi All
I have now found a venue for this years AGM
It will be held at the ARBORFIELD Royal British Legion - Eversley Road-Arborfield-Berkshire_RG2 9PR
Eversley road runs between 2 roundabouts and is about 1 mile long the club is half way between these roundabouts
There will be a Xmas meal as usual as the club have agreed to cook for us (no more walkabouts to carvery)
The Selection Committee will meet as usual at 11am
Xmas meal will be around 12.15pm
AGM will start at 2pm
I hope that because it is more central than the Didcot Con Club, More members will attend
Please support the Xmas meal too, as many as we can get please.
I will let you know the cost of meal shortly
The Date will be 30th November
Any questions please ask
Many thanks Dave
**NOW THE 7th DECEMBER 2014**

The Date will be 30th November I believe that the date was originally scheduled for 7th December.... is there any particular reason that this has changed? The new date now clashes with Sussex Inter League fixtures, these are specifically arranged for dates to avoid clashes with national events and could mean that no representatives from Sussex and some from Kent may not now be able to attend.... potentially that could include the AEBBA Chairman, Assistant Secretary and at least 5 other people that attended the AGM last year. If the date can be changed back to 7th December, I will be pleased to attend and will also enjoy joining everyone for lunch.... if not, please pass apologies from myself and Colleen Park as we will be unable to attend this year.

I'll chip in on behalf of Dave A. on this one
7th December is not available at the venue, hence why the date was brought forward.
14th December was, and may still be, available but was felt to be too close to Christmas, any thoughts on that date from all interested parties?
If 14th December is a non runner then 30th November will remain and, hopefully, the AGM will be over long before your inter-league fixtures start that evening. The inter-league fixtures could, of course, be played on 7th December as you will not now be doing anything that evening! Attendance at the annual meeting of our National Association does seem rather important to me!

Hi guys
Sorry for not checking other tournament dates I have been in touch with the caretaker to discuss possible dates 7th December has a christening event in the main room, however there is a smaller room next to the bar that we can use.
It will mean there will be no Xmas dinner, but I have the solution.
My sister Jules will provide a Xmas buffet for us on the day.
So the selection committee will meet at 12 midday and AGM will be 2pm
Anyone wishing to attend and feed need to be there at 1pm
I would still like to have some sort of list so that Jules can supply the right amount of food

I will definitely be there and would happily have some food, will have to let you know nearer the time if Colleen can attend as it will depend on her shifts at work that week.

Just a reminder that proposals for the 2014 AGM must be with the secretary by Sunday 16th November, under five weeks away!

Hi Dave Please please could the selection committee still meet at 11am and the AGM start at 1pm. I have to leave by 4pm and if it starts at 2pm I will be leaving early again. If you don't ask you don't get I know nothing should be based arround an individual. Happy to contribute to the buffet if that helps too. Chris x

I must remind myself to read posts properly and not just sift through and pick vital points out. After arriving at the venue today and wandering why no one was there I checked the forum more thoroughly and noticed it's actually next weekend! What an Idiot!
I however am unfortunately unavailable next weekend because I had already changed plans to fit the AGM in, which I cannot now re-arrange!
I am sorry for not attending and will speak to curt reference the Selections Committee!
