Does anyone else suffer from the mirror imaging disease? or is this something that just me is inflicted with?
Just made up two new cushions for the table I am taking to Amsterdam next week and they look lovely, as good as I could have hoped for. Only problem is they are both left hand cushions! When I cut the rough mitres on the rubber on one side whilst making them I cut them the wrong way around on one!
The number of times I do this drives me around the twist and yet I still do it even after checking!!
Fortunately in this case I have another table on the stocks to follow this one (ex Wallingford) that will need new rails and rubbers. Will now try and make two right hand ones! (will get 'erself to double-check!)
I fabricated two 'T' shaped plates from 3mm brass sheeting to reinforce our back door where two local scrotes damaged it trying to kick it in, needless to say I cut them back to front and had to put the decorative shiny side against the door!
Anyone else have any stupid habits they cannot cure?
Sav

LOL Sav, your mum obviously didn't label your wellies 'L' and 'R' when you were a boy ! I find that removable 'licky stables' is the answer: I always use them when assembling flat-pack furniture.

Funny you should mention this- I did pretty much the same thing on a pair of Jelkes cushions, glued the wooden strip in the same ends. Thinks its called "directional dyslexia"
