Horns Lodge 0 Brewbells 5 Pete Shaw | 1320 | Doug* | 3380 | Sam Hall* | 1070 | Ros | 2740 | Dave Tiffin | 770 | Neil* | 4070 | Kevin Stevens* | 1120 | Nick | 5470 | David Croft | 1380 | Tony* | 1470 |
Highlights of the match: A great 4,400 break by Nick, after Kevin came off early. The dogfight in the last between Tufty and Tony, whioh was a close game all the way through. In the end the Lodger needed to keep a ball up, but unfortunately he potted both the last balls to give Tony the win. Some of the highlights of the evening: Neil tried to destroy the trophies and anything else within reach of the fireplace, Doug followed up by trying to ruin the darts mat and I attempted to make a hole in the ceiling with my cue. Meanwhile, Nick was trying to hold the record for the most filled glasses of beer in front of him (4) Lots of lively conversation with the Horny ones, who took their defeat with grace. Thanks to the Horns Lodgde for the really good handmade sausage rolls (filled with good butcher's sausage meat) and nice chips.

Yes Ros - appalling loutish behaviour from Mr Higgins last night. I trust you will have a word with him ;-)
Despite that, and the complete demolition job on the bar billiards table, a very enjoyable evening with the Bells: well played.

CKRBL 2-3 USC 'A'
Pete Harris 200 - 10,050 Trevor Rees Neil Burchell 2,260 - 1,590 Mick Kirwan Ted Stringer 3,890 - 2,180 Graham Sparksman Brian Coleman 990 - 1,440 Ron Wales Andy F-Wright 3,250 - 4,540 Andy Guy
Excellent game by Trevor, with 10k (5k + 2 other breaks) that showed how good the table is. Good to see Neil again. Ted did what was needed, while I didn't LOL scrappy 4th game. Andy G played well, and Andy F-W lost enough for potential close finish.
Good evening as always with Ted's Team.
