Well that was 'interesting'! another tick in the life's experiences' box.
Woke to a deep rumble like a distant explosion and a shuddering of the house, a bit worrying but it only lasted about five seconds so no time to react.
Pretty close to the epicentre here but none of the probable rubbish on the box from people further away about doors banging and plates falling off the walls.
The cat didn't even move on the bed!

I felt the earth move in California a couple of times and it is a weird "what the hell happened there" experience!

It had to happen, as a knock-on effect from something recently happening on 'tother side of the world. (Nepalese 'quake). Our massive hurricane of 1987 followed in the wake of Chernobyl. Begs the question now, was the Everest 'quake a result of the fracking in Balcombe, Sussex ?
