Information about the bar billiards

Hello,
I have just discovered bar billiards in a pub and found it interesting. Being curious I tried to look over the Internet to get more information but couldn't find much. The only page I found was this one on Wikipedia but I was wondering if you had other sources where I could get information on this game (books, magazines ...). I have found this forum to be very complete but going through all the posts is complicated, so a summary would be nice :)
