I think the prices above are per night based on 2 sharing and not per person per night ?

I've also just done an exploratory price check and price quoted for an early booking of a single occupancy twin or double room is £64.60 per night! Doesn't seem that last year's "special" price of £70 was that "special".

Thanks for the tip off but you created such interest Chocie that the prices went up in 2 hours but I still booked as it is still a good price ......actually paid £183 for 4 nights, single occupancy at the Mayfair, return Flights including an extra £12 for my choice of flight time outbound (-£1 tax adjustment) website shows :- Mayfair £172.00 Merton £370.00 for comparison I noted that just booking the same flights only would be £134.40 .... so I consider that I'm staying at the Mayfair for about £12 per night

Good evening all,
Apologies for the delay in getting the information into the public realm, I have been in negotiations with the Merton on certain areas of the weekend.
The below prices can be obtained by booking directly with the Merton Hotel (0845 800 5555), mentioning Bar Billiards when phoning. They cannot be obtained online although should you find cheaper via an online deal then book it, do not moan/raise your grievances to myself or Graeme about being able to find a cheaper deal!
All prices include full English breakfast and are prices per room, not per person.
Single: £72 Double: £72
These are for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday only.
In addition I have been given a selection of Real Ales to choose from this year and depending on feedback the hotel have agreed to bring in 3 kegs for the weekend, with the price being fixed at £3.75
Courage Directors Bitter Betty Stogs Spitfire Ringwood Razor Back Best Bitter Bombardier Premium Bitter
Of the five detailed above please let me know which you would like to see over the weekend (PM me) and I shall attempt to get in 4 kegs (2 of each).
Finally, entry forms (also detailing pre-order of the polo shirts) shall be released soon.
Regards Sean
