Hikers Rest B 3-2 Cock n Balls - match played Sunday to avoid a clash with something going on at the Amex on Monday A brilliant night in excellent company with plenty of laughs and friendly banter Scores will be added once the very efficient Liz puts them on the website as the woefully inefficient home captain failed to record them The banter was mainly directed at players of the same team as for some reason people seem to take even more pleasure from that

Glynde Club 5 - 0 Plough
Dave White 2250 v 100 Kevin Hutchinson** Bob Osborne** 4100 v 3590 Chase Newman Colin Southouse 14520 v 500 John Staplehurst** Phil Osborne** 7920 v 4060 Geoff Fairs Dave Todd w/over
1st game was very close until kevin took the black off the bottom cushion, Chase ended up in front but Bob came back with a timely play out. John missed the split leaving Colin to get 11k and then played out, Phil opened with 2k Geoff was off early leaving Phil to get another 6k then Geoff played out. Dave todd had a walkover as the plough were one short tonight, a nice result for the "Glynde" Club

1 point deducted from Laughing Fish W for fielding an ineligible player. We have a tie for the runners-up spot in the League between Hikers Rest A and Glynde Club. Here is the League Rule that covers this situation:- xi) In the event of two or more teams finishing level on points, the team having the most won matches to their credit shall be declared the winner. Should the teams still remain level, the position shall be resolved by a replay on a neutral table to be nominated by the Management Committee.

Am sure you can sort somthing out with Little legs. Could it not be played on Hassocks Hotel table Finals night? Or go on the head to head!

How about a quick round of 5-a-side darts, or shove ha'penny, or arm-wrestling? Game of chess between the two captains ?

I'm ok to go for a game of chess but the odds might not be good for the oppos unless tommo gets subbed in.
in all fairness my team are not particularly interested in a another match in June which is pretty full with other matches just for a runners up spot play off and therefore wish to concede the match with all due respect to the Lewes league and committee to the worthy opponents.
