County Oak 4-2 HHUSC **Jack 2310 - 900 Sparky Matt 10,850 - 520 Richard** **Michelle 560 - 4020 Andy George 2030 - 290 Darryl** **Jack/Michelle 6510 - 1030 Andy/Huw Matt/George 2240 - 2400 Richard/Jim** There was certainly some fun and games at the County Oak tonight with one chap seemingly taking offence at the fact that people sat on the chairs to watch the bar billiards!! Fortunately the opposition had brought along a couple of study chaps who acted as bouncers On the table a good win for the home team with Jack continuing his good form of the weekend and even the captain playing a half-decent leg George also broke his duck in the singles for the Summer Thanks to our opposition for being very good company and helping to make it a very enjoyable evening

NOTE: Laughing Fish placed ahead of Black Lion in Group 1 by virtue of the head-to-head results between the 2 teams. Postponed Matches Brewers Arms v Hikers Rest (Week 2) So, with just the one postponed game in Group 1 that is due to be played next Monday, here is the current situation as far as qualification for the Main or Plate Semi-Finals.... Group 1 The Brewers Arms have qualified for the Main Competition and will go through as the top team in this group unless they lose the re-arranged game against the Hikers Rest 6-0. The Hikers Rest have to win that game by at least 5-1 to qualify for the main competition as Laughing Fish have a superior head-to-head record against them in the Group games. The Laughing Fish also had a superior head-to-head record against the Black Lion which means that the Black Lion will play in the Plate Competition. Group 2 This group was also very close but the final week results meant that Albion Fishersgate finished top of the group and will play the runners-up from Group 2 in the main semi-final with Hassocks Hotel also qualifying for the main semi-final and they will play the Group 2 winners. County Oak will play the 4th placed team from Group 1 in the Plate Semi-Final with United Services Club playing the 3rd place team. Based on the current positions in the tables, the semi-finals would be:- Main Competition Brewers Arms v Hassocks Hotel Albion Fishersgate v Laughing Fish Plate Competition Black Lion Halland v United Services Club County Oak v Hikers Rest All semi-finals with be played at neutral venues which will be allocated once the final line-ups have been decided.
