Congrats to the Bull on winning the first award of the season and sorry we missed it (having got tickets in the ballot). Marion power again - top-scoring for the CC's.

The subject of a 'competition favouring the underdog' was broached at our last AGM, and the committee took the comments on board. Much credit goes to Stu Carruthers who came up with what appears to be an ideal format for this competition, restored after a gap of 20 years. It's not the only handicap competition to make a comeback this season: our sister league, Mid Sussex, have also restored theirs.

It's just a good job the big dogs won the final Well, it worked well both ways, top team playing bottom team in a close final, with the overdogs just too good, enabling them to triumph in the face of adversity.
