Hassocks B 3-2 Cock Utd
Dom Ashby 1000-5460 Dave Croft Ash Mole 1050-2280 Kevin Stevens Chris Lambe 2150-1650 Dave Tiffin Dilly Williiamson 9580-1150 Hugh Lincoln Barry West 2300-1560 Peter Shaw
Crofty played well and controlled the first. Ash came out of retirement as Jenny is on holiday, and led until Kev finally got the break. The Hassocks landlord got the win which put the tie back in the balance. Dilly started slow but got better and better. Pete led until I finally got my arse in gear.
Chicken, chips and mushrooms , plus competitive billiards in nice company.

A good start for the Zeds making the most of the opportunities granted - until the last game. (Tommo firing blanks.) Cheering company from HHUSC on a rough old night. Good news for us that Mr Mike's condition is treatable, and we could be seeing him back early November.
